Since the beginning, our founding partners David Wagner and Michael Murray, have been committed to providing hands-on, principal-based design to all our clients. Almost thirty years later this integrated method remains at the core of every project. We provide a full range of architectural and interior design services. Our team of skilled creatives is committed to your project, from initial planning, design development, finish and furniture selections to construction documents, permitting, and final construction administration. As your advocate, we provide additional client support via project scheduling, budget analysis, contractor bid examination and more. We take pride in providing you with a personalized experience throughout the design and construction process, making it as simple and streamlined as possible.

In addition to architecture and interior design, we also offer supplemental design services, including environmental graphic design, wayfinding signage, art integration and more.

DAVID WAGNER, AIA

Partner

David Wagner has practiced architecture in Charlotte for over 40 years. As a founding partner and big-picture visionary, he uses a hands-on approach to provide exceptional service to our clients. He oversees project design, and encourages team members to rise to their potentials and expand their skill sets. Over the years he has steadfastly advocated for integrating artistic elements into the built environment to craft memorable and engaging spaces. David is a Virginia Tech alumnus and recipient of the AIA Distinguished Services Award for Community and Public Activism.

MICHAEL MURRAY, AIA

Partner

As a founding partner, Michael Murray brings with him a focus on construction documents and construction administration. With 34 years as a licensed Architect he has a breadth of knowledge in building codes, construction methods, project costs, and architectural detailing. Whether it’s a multi-million dollar stadium renovation, or a small local restaurant upfit, Michael is committed to ensuring every project is executed on-time and within budget, while maintaining an acute attention to detail and level of finish. Michael completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture at Clemson University, and is currently serving on the Charlotte Chamber’s Board of Advisors.

SARAH WILLIAMS, NCIDQ, IIDA

Senior Associate / Interior Designer

Sarah Williams, a Charlotte native, has served as Senior Interior Designer for a variety of projects from NFL stadium renovations to restaurants to corporate interiors. With nine years of experience, she previously designed interiors for hotels, healthcare and senior living facilities. Exposure to several industries gives her portfolio diversity, and she brings a fresh approach to every design solution she develops. Sarah believes that great design starts with understanding our client’s needs and challenges. She excels in crafting efficient space plans, and strives to positively impact the end-user’s experience, all while staying on budget and on schedule. Sarah is an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, and a graduate of UNC-Greensboro’s Interior Architecture program. She currently serves on the IIDA Carolinas Board of Directors and is a member of CREW Charlotte.

Jessica is currently renovating her 90-year old, 900 SF bungalow, one square foot at a time.

JESSICA CONRAD

Senior Associate / Designer

Jessica Conrad is a multifaceted designer with a diverse range of experience spanning interiors, graphic design, web design and design/build. Jessica’s background has given her invaluable knowledge in interior detailing, project management, cost analysis, branding, and ROI. She views every new project as an opportunity to build lasting client partnerships and she aims to develop dependable working relationships with each client. Jessica believes that design is the process of improving the condition of the environment we inhabit, and good design is catapulted by focusing on user perspective. She strives to seamlessly integrate branding and environmental graphics into interior design, enforcing the connection of people to places. Jessica has an Interior Architecture degree from UNC-Greensboro, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute of Charlotte.
